2009 Sales Review

Wednesday, January 6th, 2010

I’m currently well behind, trying to keep up with the business side of things, thus that is the reason no new president was posted this weekend. For that I apologize.

To hold you over, however, I will be posting up some other new work until I can get back into the president series. Sunday Celebrity

Friends in the greater Topeka area, I have a job for you all… tomorrow 12-13!

First thing, pick up a Topeka Capital-Journal and find the Midway. There’s going to be an article on me in the news-rag! Not only was I stoked that they sought me out and came up for the interview, but they chose to put me in the Sunday paper!

Then stay up real, real late and watch KTKA Channel 49 ABCs 10 o’clock news. They came up to shoot a feel good piece on me, so I’m gonna be on the tuba-vision too!

For those of you not in the local news coverage radius, I’ll be posting both those pieces on the newly added Press Section of my site as soon as possible.

Carry on.

I redesigned the site, added Google Checkout (the best service ever!) to my store and… oh yeah, got a feature page in the latest issue of Food Network Magazine! (more…)

I approached most of the posters with tongue planted firmly in cheek. I wanted lighthearted and fun — not a display of form and technical prowess. Though they can be enjoyed individually, no poster was meant to stand on its own. It’s the collective power of all the ideas together. I tried to create “art” that wasn’t so “arty” that it couldn’t be enjoyed by the everyman. I wanted to fashion something that could be liked by people of all ages and interest groups. I forced myself to fill each poster with only what was necessary to convey the intended food.
