Well well well… I’ve been a bad blogger haven’t I?

I don’t lack a great reason! If you haven’t noticed, I have begun to upload second editions of many of the United Plates prints whilst still working on the US Presidents series.

I redesigned the site, added Google Checkout (the best service ever!) to my store and… oh yeah, got a feature page in the latest issue of Food Network Magazine!

“How did that come about?” You ask? Well, they called me up and said “We want you in our magazine!” and I said “Oh most assuredly I want to be in your fine publication!”

You see, not only is Food Network (the channel) a quality channel that’s home to one of my favorites, Ace of Cakes, But the magazine is a top notch example of how magazines should be run in the new era of internet.

I think they did a fine job featuring me, giving images top priority… and they made a fine selection of prints to boot. Then there’s the fact that they coined the phrase “tastefully designed,” how perfect! I’m stealin’ it!

So head on out to your local bookstore and buy the issue (don’t just read about me, there are some killer cookie recipes in there I can’t wait to dive into).

Now I just need a book publisher to contact me and say “Hey, you know that United Plates series of yours? We want to print that as a book!” and I’ll say “Alright, let’s do it! I have it right here!” I’ve spent the last week or so compiling and designing the book and it’s coming along nicely. There may even be a couple bonus pieces only available in the book. Hmm…

A restaurant chain also needs to contact me, these prints should be hanging on your walls… I’ve known that all along!

Have a good Thanksgiving, friends. As exciting as this time is for my project, I have many more important things to be thankful for and as cliché as it is, remember all that you have to be thankful for!
