A little bit of business wizardry, I am now a member of the Etsy community. For those of you that have yet to purchase a print from me, you can do so on shorthanded.etsy.com as well as my store. There is no real difference, only that the Etsy community is a much tighter nit community of like minded artisans and I feel as though I would fit in better there and be more likely to sell out of these prints via that outlet.
I absolutely love the service I have gotten from my original store. The two dudes that run Big Cartel are super generous and quick to offer help. I couldn’t be more satisfied with them as far as service goes. The only problem is Big Cartel seems to be more centered around music and bands and labels and less around print shops and artists like myself. There really is something to “the artist community,” something that I never really realized fully until now.
So if you haven’t yet purchased a lovely print from my United Plates series, get on it!
